Brock11 is partnering with our client, a growing and well-established food manufacturer in Medina, Ohio, to identify an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager.
 
As the organization continues to grow, it is expanding its EHS function to support future success. This position will strengthen existing programs, partner with operational leaders, and advance both safety and sustainability initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead environmental, health, safety, and sustainability initiatives across multiple manufacturing facilities.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS management systems, policies, and standardized processes.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Human Resources, Maintenance, and Production leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable regulations.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and risk assessments.
  • Conduct safety audits and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Analyze safety metrics and develop proactive improvement strategies.
  • Oversee workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.
  • Develop and deliver safety training while coaching others.
  • Support sustainability initiatives including utility reduction, recycling, landfill diversion, and waste reduction.
  • Travel periodically to support additional Midwest manufacturing facilities.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in manufacturing.
  • Food manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong OSHA and regulatory knowledge.
  • Experience with EHS systems, audits, investigations and corrective actions.
  • Experience with workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional leaders without direct reporting relationships.
  • Experience supporting sustainability initiatives is highly desirable.
