About the Role
As an Electrical Project Manager, you'll steer projects from inception to completion. Your expertise in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and team leadership will be essential to delivering projects on time, within budget, and at the highest quality and safety standards.
What You’ll Do
- Manage all phases of project development—budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors to define and execute project scopes.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contracts for alignment with project goals.
- Develop and monitor detailed budgets; negotiate effectively with vendors and subcontractors.
- Build and maintain project timelines; mitigate risks and resolve delays.
- Coordinate with electrical teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient operations.
- Lead the project team, encouraging communication, accountability, and cohesion.
- Oversee safety compliance and quality control—conduct inspections and champion safe practices.
- Serve as the primary client liaison; deliver periodic updates, cost analyses, and schedule reports.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field/experience.
- At least 5 years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager in the contracting space.
- Deep familiarity with electrical systems, construction workflows, and project management principles.
- Fluency in project management tools (Procore, MS Project, or equivalents).
- Outstanding leadership, organizational, and negotiation capabilities.
- Strong performance under pressure with a knack for meeting deadlines.
- Solid working knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and relevant safety standards.
Nice-to-Haves
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
- Prior experience leading large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to AutoCAD, BIM, or similar design platforms.
