Brock11 is partnering with a leading, full-service construction and facility solutions provider headquartered in Northwest Ohio to identify an Electrical Preconstruction Leader for its North Ridgeville operations.

Operating as a unified team of specialized companies, they serve as a single-source partner for clients across commercial and industrial markets—supporting projects from site selection and financing through construction, renovation, and ongoing facility management.

Position Overview

The Electrical Preconstruction Leader is responsible for leading all electrical estimating and planning activities during the preconstruction phase of commercial and industrial projects. This role ensures accurate budgeting, thorough constructability reviews, and strategic value engineering across electrical systems to deliver cost-effective, high-quality project outcomes.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring both technical expertise and strong collaboration skills.

• Key Responsibilities
• Develop detailed electrical estimates and budgets for commercial and industrial projects
• Review electrical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and constructability
• Collaborate with design teams, owners, and trade partners to optimize project scope, cost, and schedule
• Lead value engineering initiatives to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising performance
• Conduct risk assessments and contribute to procurement strategies
• Maintain preconstruction schedules and ensure timely delivery of electrical estimates
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders

• Qualifications & Skills
• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems
• Experience with BIM and virtual design tools
• Familiarity with sustainable building practices and LEED certification preferred
• Design-build or integrated project delivery experience
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Accubid estimating software is a plus
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating or electrical preconstruction
